2012 HOF Speeches

I Am Free. You Can Be Too!

I Am Free. You Can Be Too!My Hall of Fame Speech.

First and foremost, I want to thank my beautiful fiancée for finding this site. She is my soul and my life. I remember when she first told me about KTC. I had a dip in my lip and she called me during her lunch hour, September 27, 2011. I logged onto the site right away, and read Tom and Jenny’s story. I also looked at the pictures on the site. I spit that shit out of my mouth immediately. I thought I would give it a try, but never thought it would work for me. Well, with a little prodding and a lot of reassurance from her, I started this long journey. Let me tell you, I have learned alot from the journey, and met alot of great people! A huge thank you to Chewie, Toe Tag, Schowick, Miles and CB Man. You all have no idea what an encouragement you have been to me. These men have helped me to get where I am today.

There is alot of shit to go through. But without these people, KTC and kmm125(the love of my life) I honestly can’t say I would have made it.

You see, nicotine is a real drug. It affects your life in so many different ways. It controls your life in many ways. And I am so happy that it is not controlling mine anymore!

I was a dipper for over 30 years. I started when I was 11 or 12 years old. I quit, well stopped, for 8 weeks while in basic training. I started right back up after basic was over. I had not stopped since. I was the person that put a dip in and kept it in for hours. Only to take it out to go to bed. I did not know when I started what it was doing to my mind, body, soul and life. Now I know everything it has done to me and I wont let it affect me or control me again.

After 3 weeks of being quit, I made the dreaded dentist appointment. I had not been to the dentist in over 20 years. Let me tell you that was a scary moment in my life. But as luck would have it, all the cancer tests came back clean. I found out I had a lot of dental work that needed to be done. Well, 5 appointments, and alot of money later, I can say that everything has been fixed. I never want to go through the fear of that dentist appointment again. By keeping that shit out of my mouth today, I do not have to have fear anymore.

Well enough of my rambling on. But I want everyone to know that KTC is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. I just hope the people that read this and everything on this site realize that nicotine is a drug that controls your life. And if you do what all of the successful people on this site do, then they do can be free of nicotine! If I can do it, anyone can.+
