Jake’s Mint Chew Pina Colada Pouches Review

Jake's Mint Chew Pina Colada SquareBack again today with another product review from our friends at Jake’s Mint Chew as they just continue to flood the market with new flavors. Many times they’re introducing a flavor to the market that isn’t out there and that’s the case today with Jake’s Mint Chew Pina Colada!

Jake’s has been remarkably consistent with their products through the years and that’s a very good thing. All of their pouch products use the same pouch material and produce a good amount of saliva (even if the pouch itself isn’t super moist). It really boils down to personal preference if you like the specific flavor.

I’m not a huge Pina Colada drinker (except maybe now and then on vacation) but this was a really enjoyable flavor. These were SUPER moist opening up the can and the smell is amazing. I’m always shocked at these flavored dips that really do smell and taste just like you’d think they should.

As I normally do, I tested using TWO pouches which seems about right in terms of flavor and longevity of the chew. For context I used to get about six dips out of a can of Kodiak.

There’s a couple of kinds of Pina Coladas out there… some have too much coconut, some have too much pineapple. Rarely do they have too much rum 😉 That said, THIS version of the flavor is right on with the right amounts of both. There’s no rum here, but now that I think about it, that might make a pretty amazing little experience if you added a few drops of rum to the can. Something to think about.

As I said, super moist and the flavor lasted quite a while – 15 or 20 minutes at least. If you’re a fan of Pina Coladas this is a strong recommend.
