TeaZa Bangin’ Black Cherry Bomb Pouch Review

TeaZa Bangin BlackCherry BombBack in March I reviewed a new flavor from TeaZa called Black Cherry. I’m back today with yet another new offering from the TeaZa crew, the soon to be released, limited edition TeaZa Bangin’ Black Cherry Bomb!

If you’re not familiar with TeaZa you can check out my original review of their products here or my review of their Cool Mint flavor here. TeaZa is a small pouch product designed to boost energy and mental focus while providing oral satisfaction.  It was developed by a group of doctors, pharmacists and chemists at Trim Nutrition.

TeaZa Bangin’ Black Cherry Bomb Pouch Review

Bangin’ Black Cherry Bomb is the first “extra strength” offering from the folks at TeaZa. As you would expect the flavor profiles are very similar to Black Cherry just kicked up… a TON. When they say “bangin” they mean it. As I said in my Black Cherry review, this… is… AMAZING. Before I even popped it in my mouth (two pouches the way I do all my pouch reviews) the smell is intoxicating. I could literally get a great whiff of the cherry aroma even before I opened the package.

As with all TeaZa flavors, Bangin’ Black Cherry produces quite a bit of saliva. If you do spit it out (which you don’t have to) it’s not a super deep dark brown like you’d get with a normal chew but that won’t detract from your experience. As I said, you don’t have to spit this product. In fact, TeaZa was technically designed for you to ingest the saliva that is produced (but not the pouch product itself). This was the first review that I’ve ever done where aside from testing the color, I did not spit. That Black Cherry flavor lasted quite a long time. In fact it was a good 20 – 25 minutes into my “chew” before I got any hint of bitterness from the tea.

Bangin’ Black Cherry Bomb has the same potential down side that Black Cherry did – it tastes great, but I’m not sure it’s all that close to any flavor of dip or chew I’ve ever tried. If you’re looking for something that tastes close to a specific brand of dip (Skoal, Cope, etc.) you’re not going to get it here.

As I do with all of my reviews I used 2 pouches initially. I got that familiar flavor burst when I “work” them in my mouth. This version has “extra” caffeine and flavor though I’m not quite sure HOW much extra caffeine is here. The standard TeaZa pouch has 50 mg of caffeine which is equivalent to one cup of medium bodied coffee. I’ll reach out to TeaZa to see how much extra is here and update this post.

I don’t have any of the regular pouches on hand to compare, but pouches seem to be HUGE. Not sure if that’s how they’re getting the “extra” in there but it’s a definite possibility.

Overall this is yet another outstanding pouch product that I’d definitely give a strong recommend to. If you’re looking to try a great flavored pouch alternative give this one a shot.

I rediscovered Teaza recently, ordering some new cans. They are definitely worth getting. I am impressed with how long the flavor lasts. They claim up to 4 hours of flavor, and it seems actually true. They have good shelf life too. i had some two year old cans I hadn’t used yet and they were still good. They email coupon codes regularly and it seems cheapest to order from their website when they have a deal going on.
