What Is The Best Wintergreen Dip Alternative?

I get this question a lot! There are a TON of great smokeless alternatives (fake dip) out there that contain NO TOBACCO and NO NICOTINE. Wintergreen is a difficult flavor because it’s just SO subjective. For us wintergreen users out there it holds a special place in our heart.

Wintergreen Dip Feature

Below is my standard answer for when folks ask for a substitute for Wintergreen (Kodiak, Grizzly, Cope Wintergreen, etc.) I was a Kodiak Wintergreen guy so take my recommendations with a grain of salt. Check these out as a starting point:

Black Buffalo Long Cut Wintergreen

Hooch Snuff (Chattahoochee Herbal Snuff)

Flora CBD Wintergreen

Would love to hear from some other former Wintergreen users out there. What is YOUR favorite alternative? Comment below!

I was a long time Grizzly Wintergreen fan. I will credit Smokey Mountain chew as my quitting chew but it was too sweet. Here is the order of those I’d recommend.

1) Triumph Wintergreen-Zero Strength: best all around that I found.

2) Black Buffalo Wintergreen Ritual-good flavor and to be soft, still had to get use to it because it did hurt my gums a little in the beginning.

3) Baccoff Wintergreen-RoughCut : has good flavor and lasts for a while but it does get bitter after dipping it on a daily basis. Tried the fine cut and I didn’t like it as good.

4) Oregon Mint Chew-Wintergreen: another great alternative but after a while it does have a slight menthol taste due to being made with mint leaves. Overall still a great product. It’s more like snus but still good.

I usually just rotate between these few.

Here in California, they outlawed all mint tobacco products 2 years ago and I had to switch from Kodiak to Skoal straight, hoping that I would lose interest due to the not great taste. Fail, ended up using more. I have used beaver chew from the Oregon mint snuff company, no nicotine or tobacco. Doesnt have the kick I guess so I just cant get into it. Still searching for a help with quitting.

I have never tried dipping tobacco but I am a big fan of Swedish snus with a taste of wintergreen.
