Back again with another exciting milestone. This afternoon the forums passed the 26,000 registered members!!!
We’ve added our last 1,000 members in less than a Hall of Fame cycle. It’s only taken 96 days to gain a thousand members! It is truly an amazing thing.
Here’s a look back at recent 1,000 member growth cycles:
- 26,000 members – 2.1.2016
96 days to go from 25,000 to 26,000
- 25,000 members – 10.28.2015
- 20,000 members – 7.7.2014
- 15,000 members – 4.9.2013
- 10,000 members – 11.30.2011
- 5,000 members – 1.19.2010
We now have over 3.8 million posts on the forums. We have and over 3,800 Facebook fans. The quit discussion continues on the blog, the main site, Twitter, Google + and Instagram. Daily roll call posts here on the blog have been a big hit for those not on the forums. When it comes to quit support – size matters. The more folks you have to ask questions, bounce ideas off, the more information you have at your disposal. Now with over 26,000 members, you can essentially guarantee that there is someone who’s come before you that has experienced the same issues you’re dealing with. When you’re ready to quit dipping join us. You’re not alone.
As always, I want to offer my sincere thanks to everyone who’s joined us so far and especially to my fellow mods and admins for making KillTheCan.org the incredible community that it is.
Thank you!!! On to 27,000. So very proud to be a quitter today!
