Supporting KillTheCan

Since 2006, KillTheCan has existed for one simple reason: helping people quit nicotine.
What started as a small community focused on quitting smokeless tobacco has grown into something much bigger over the years. Today, people come to KillTheCan for support quitting dip, nicotine pouches, vaping, cigarettes, and nicotine addiction in all its forms.
Through it all, one thing has remained the same:
Everything we offer has always been free.
The forums, Discord, quit resources, blog posts, podcasts, community support, quit accountability, and conversations that happen here every single day have always been built around people helping other people quit.
Over the years, many members of the community have asked how they could support KillTheCan beyond buying merchandise from the shop. Until now, we never really had a good answer for that.
So today, we’re introducing a simple new page:
The new support page gives people a way to help support the community through optional one-time or monthly contributions.
That support helps us continue maintaining and improving KillTheCan, including:
- Website hosting and infrastructure
- Forum and Discord community tools
- Development and maintenance
- Podcasts and content creation
- Community moderation and administration
- Free quit resources and support
Most importantly, it helps us continue keeping KillTheCan free and accessible to anyone looking for help quitting nicotine.
That part is important to us.
We’re not introducing paywalls.
We’re not creating “premium recovery.”
We’re not locking support behind subscriptions.
The mission remains the same as it has always been:
people helping people quit nicotine.
If KillTheCan helped you quit, encouraged you during difficult days, or reminded you that you weren’t alone, and you’d like to help support the next person trying to quit, you can now do that here:
