Hello to all,
Coming into the HOF means a lot to me.
All of you mean a lot to me as you made me laugh and cry over the past 100 days.
During that time I kept a FOQers BLOG to help me with the sometimes painful experience of coming down off a 30 year fix.
If you don’t mind, I’d like to share it with you now.
My blog served two purposes:
1. It allowed me to pinpoint the key things on a WEEKLY basis that helped me stay quit. Each week was so different from the preceeding one and was sure to be different from the one that would come.
Each week I picked ONE THING that I felt was critical to my quit. These KEY WORDS are included in my blog. Hopefully these may serve some purpose for us as we continue on our journey or be helpful to a newbie quitter looking for help on a particular phase of their quit.
2. I pulled off the KTC site and put in my blog some of the posts that had an impact on me. Some were philosophical and serious. Some were just pure nonsense and hysterically funny. I’m sure you’ll remember most of these posts and probably see yourself at some point as you read my panderings.
Hearing you guys helped me a bunch and it’s great to look back and see what happened. Do you remember when JPCrew changed his name!!!!!
The blog you are about to read is, I guess, my HOF speech.
