100 Days: The Threshold

100 Days: The Threshold - Standing On the Precipice

Congratulations to the February group.

There are 8 of you left standing. You’ve crossed the 100-day threshold together, and that is a massive achievement. But I have a serious question for you: How many of you are still going to be here 100 days from now?

I’m not asking to be cynical; I’m asking because history tells a story. As the days rack up, the quit becomes quiet. Some of you will feel like you’ve won, drop off the board, and try to go on with your life. While we all want to move on, the reality is that many who stop posting eventually stop staying quit.

The Century Mark is a dangerous place to get comfortable.

Why You Can’t Stop Now

  • The Fade: The memory of the pain—the cravings, the sleepless nights, the fog—starts to fade. Don’t let your brain trick you into thinking “just one” won’t hurt.
  • The Habit of Accountability: Posting your promise isn’t just for the group; it’s a daily contract with yourself. When you stop signing that contract, you leave the door cracked open.
  • Success is Daily: You didn’t quit for 100 days; you quit for one day, 100 times. Success isn’t a destination you reached today—it’s a discipline you practice tomorrow.
  • The Urge: I urge all of you to continue your daily promises. Don’t just walk away because you hit a number. Stay in the foxhole with your brothers and sisters. Your presence here doesn’t just keep you safe; it helps the person at Day 1 see that Day 200 is possible.

Keep your word. One day at a time. See you at 200.
