Big Trouble for Big Tobacco

The Obama administration announced this morning its nomination of Tom Frieden, New York City’s public health commissioner, as director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

All I can say is…. YEAH!  I don’t necessarily think that tobacco should be a government issue, but the more the PEOPLE know about tobacco (cigarettes, snuff, chew, dip, etc.) the more informed they will be.  I’ve always had a problem with the fact that people just DON’T KNOW how addicting this stuff is.  They just DON’T KNOW how bad for you it is.  If it’s brought to the forefront by the media then I’ve viewing that at as a good thing.
