Grinds Coffee Pouches – Cherry Review

Grinds Cherry Coffee PouchesIt’s been forever and a day since I’ve reviewed a product from Grinds Coffee Pouches but I’m thrilled to be sitting down today to write this one – Grinds Cherry Coffee Pouches! I was first introduced to Grinds way back in the day when they were featured on ABC’s Shark Tank. I’ve reviewed several of their products over the years including:

As I said, I’m here today to talk about their Cherry Coffee Pouches and I’m pumped. While I was primarily a Kodiak Wintergreen chewer I did have several years in there where Skoal Cherry was my go to so I’ve got a soft spot in my heart for cherry products. This one certainly doesn’t disappoint. If you’re not familiar with Grinds, they’re made out of coffee grinds.  All flavors of Grinds are pouch products so you don’t have to deal with cleanup or spitting if you don’t want to. Each pouch as the caffeine equivalent of a 1/4 cup of coffee so you’ll get a nice little boost. This is important to point out for those folks who like to chew at night. If you can’t go to sleep after a cup of coffee you may have trouble sleeping after Grinds.

Grinds Cherry Pouches Ingredients

Coffee, Water, Natural & Artificial Flavors, Glycerin, Caffeine, Acesulfame Potassium, Sodium Carbonate, Potassium sorbate.

I’ve always loved the Grinds packaging which is a round plastic tin that’s really solid. No flimsy cans that you will crush here. Each can also has an ingredients list and a “best before” date imprinted on it which I really appreciate.

Grinds Cherry Pouches – Thoughts & Recommendation

Grinds are coffee products, so naturally they taste like coffee. That only makes sense. That said you get a really nice bold cherry flavor here which isn’t overshadowed by the coffee flavor. It’s an awesome substitute for Cherry fans out there and one that I’d highly recommend.  I have to say that while there are certainly coffee overtones here this really did bring me back to my Cherry Skoal days. Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad.

As always there’s a TON of super dark brown saliva that’s produced but you don’t have to spit if you don’t want to. You’re essentially “brewing” coffee in your mouth. If you don’t like coffee I’m guessing this one won’t be for you but if you do and especially if you’re a cherry fan you’ll love this one!
