My Journey

KTC Logo BlueIt all started when I was 17 years old when my friend offered me a dip. I said to him “what the hell” and so I took a dip. Then a few minutes later I was in the bathroom puking my guts out! But for some reason I decided that I would do it again and then before long I was addicted.

And then just a month later I met the love of my life (or I thought so, but I will get to that later) her name was Lauren. A beautiful 17 year old girl that loved to dip just like me. We had some great times together. So fast forward almost 2 years. She decided that she was going to quit. She wanted me to quit so bad, but I told her no, I can quit anytime I want!

Then almost 1 year after that my favorite cousin was diagnosed with mouth cancer. That really scared me straight. I finally realized that if I do not quit, then I will end up just like him. So thats when I found and joined KTC.

At first my quit was going pretty well. But about 2 weeks in I found out that some of my co-workers had a pool betting on how long my quit would last. And naturally that really pissed me off when I found out, but I told them no matter what you do I WILL stay quit.

I have many many times where I just wanted to say screw it and have a dip, but I made a promise every damn day to my quit brothers that I wouldn’t cave.

Then in late May I found out that my fiance was cheating on me. That’s when I had my worst crave. But I reached out to my quit brothers and they helped me through it. So after a few weeks or so I took her back. Then just recently I caught her cheating on me again, but this time I am not taking her back.

I owe my quit to all my quit brothers and sisters, because without them I never would have made it this far. I know that 100 days is just the beginning so I will continue to be active on KTC and post roll every damn day!!
