FlowBlend – CBD and Formula One Nootropic Pouches

FlowBlend ProudctsBack in December of 2021 I first reviewed a line of products from FlowBlend. You can check out that original review here: FlowBlend Infused Pouches Review. I’m back today with some new flavors and products from our friends at FlowBlend – specifically their nootropic blend pouches!

From the product card that was included in my samples here’s the breakdown of the different types of pouches FlowBlend offers:

CBD Pouches – Can be used anytime without consequence. If quitting Nicotine, aim for 50mg or more of CBD per day.

Stoked Pouches – These little pouches are made to stoke your inner fire, so best not to take them any later than you would drink a cup of coffee or they could disrupt sleep.

Formula One – Made to boost mood, enhance memory and increase focus. These tart pouches are best in morning and early afternoon. They contain no stimulants, but can impact sleep. Limit Formula One to 3 pouches per day.

Once again, FlowBlend has really high quality cans and labels. It’s a small detail but one that I really appreciate. These are relatively small pouches, which to me means these are geared toward the snus / nicotine pouch users out there. As those two groups are on the upswing, seeing cessation products geared toward them makes me happy. The other thing you’ll notice about these pouches is that they’re SUPER dry. Not a bad thing as they produce quite a bit of saliva right away.

Something I did notice this time around that I don’t remember from my previous review. This little packet in the nootropic cans. I believe these are to protect against moisture in the product. Don’t dip these 😉

FlowBlend CBD Pouches

Ingredients from can: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Xylitol, Natural Flavors, MCT Oil, Himalayan Sea Salt, Stevia, 10 mg Hemp Derived CBD

Dewdrop AppleDewdrop Apple CBD Pouches – smells great and I think they may taste even better. A very subdued apple flavor which I really appreciate. I’m not super familiar with the different types of apples other than to tell you which ones I do and don’t like. This apple tastes much different than other apple products on the market and this is definitely one that I enjoy. I used two pouches here and that seems about right. I don’t think one would be enough flavor for me. I will say that toward the end of this chew I picked up a slight bitterness. After looking at the ingredients list I see that there’s Stevia here which is what I think it was. That said this is still a strong recommend.

Cinnamon Haze CBD Pouches – I’m generally not a huge fan of cinnamon fake dips / pouches, but that’s only because I’m not really a cinnamon fan to begin with. This one is a goo representation of the flavor though, not too overpowering and not too subdued. Again, not my personal cup of tea but I could see there cinnamon fans would go wild for this one. I’d be interested to hear from cinnamon fans on this one. Here’s the best thing I can say… I’m not a fan of cinnamon dips and I still left this one in for quite a while and even enjoyed it.

FlowBlend Formula One Buccal Nootropic Pouches

Ingredients from can: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Natural Flavors, Xylitol, MCT Oil, Himalayan Sea Salt, Stevia, Xanthan Gum. 10 mg CBD, FORMULA ONE BLEND: 150mg Alpha GPC, 50mg Rhodiola, 30mg L-Theanine, 5mg Vinpocetine (LIMIT 3 PER DAY)

Natural Spearmint Flavor +CBDNatural Spearmint Flavor +CBD – from the product information the word TART is what leaps out to me here. These smell like ‘normal’ spearmint when cracking the can but as soon as you pop one in that tart REALLY kicks in. These weren’t my favorite from a taste perspective and the aftertaste stuck around for quite a while.

Ingredients from can: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Natural Flavors, Xylitol, MCT Oil, Himalayan Sea Salt, Stevia, Xanthan Gum. FORMULA ONE BLEND: 150mg Alpha GPC, 50mg Rhodiola, 30mg L-Theanine, 5mg Vinpocetine (LIMIT 3 PER DAY)

Natural Spearmint Flavor – I tried this one coming directly off of the CBD version and I think I liked this one a bit better. Not quite as tart (though it was definitely still there). The spearmint here was really strong, but not hot if that makes sense. Think the flavor of an Altoid without the heat that comes along for the ride.

Cacao Beanz Flavor – Really interesting flavor here… really getting the chocolate flavor (which you’d expect) but the mix of the tartness here was an interesting mix. All of these products are meant to be swallowed (the saliva they produce, not the pouches themselves. Aftertaste here isn’t nearly as bad as with the spearmints varieties. If I’m being honest I wasn’t expecting to like this one… and I did. Most of the other ‘chocolate’ products out there are coffee based. This is a nice departure from those.

Cherry Blast Flavor – This was the one from this batch I was really looking forward to which is why I left it till the end. If you’ve been reading my stuff for a while you’ll know that when I wasn’t chewing Kodiak Wintergreen my goto was Skoal Cherry so I’ve got a soft spot for cherry flavors. This one absolutely delivered for me giving me that warm Cherry Lifesaver flavor with a bit of tart that these nootropic pouches have been giving. Strong way for me to end my sampling and a strong recommend for cherry fans out there.

Special thanks to the folks at FlowBlend for providing me samples to try and review!
