Long Ball Licorice Dip Style Review

Long Ball Licorice Dip StyleIn 2017 I reviewed two plug style product from Long Ball Licorice. I first reviewed their Long Ball Black Licorice – Plug Style Alternative and then followed up with a review of their Long Ball Round Tripper Red Licorice. I’m back today with a review of a new product that’s on the way very soon: Long Ball Licorice Dip Style!

If you’re not familiar with Long Ball’s products their candy licorice made in Australia. The company was founded by Andre Chiavelli, a former employee of the New York Yankees and is exclusively licensed by the Babe Ruth Family.

Long Ball Dip Style Review

As with my previous reviews I received a sample pack prior to production so I haven’t seen the final packaging.

Once again this is pretty straight forward. It’s black licorice. But this time, rather than in plug format it’s in the shape of a dip. Pop two or three between your cheek and gum and you’re dipping licorice. It’s a food grade candy product so you don’t need to spit but if you choose to you’ll get a ton of dark brown / black saliva. Taste is again, very straight forward… black licorice. If you like that flavor you’ll like this. If you don’t you won’t.

That said I’m thrilled that Long Ball is expanding their product line. The more options there are for quitters out there the better!

No cleanup to speak of as you’ve consumed it and it’s gone. Will definitely be getting some more of this and can’t wait to try the raspberry and apple flavors when available.
