Finding Your Quit In 2019
It’s the last day of 2019, and before the calendar flips to 2020 tomorrow I wanted to take a look back at this past year. We’ve been through a lot and there’s a lot of great things on the horizon… especially when you’re a quitter.
As you can see, we’ve got a new look and feel for the main website. I’ve still got a lot to do but I’ll continue plugging away to ensure that you’ve got the best experience we can provide.
I’m sort of a web geek so I’m always interested to hear how people found us. Word of mouth and social sharing has always been one of the major ways that people have found us. Our Twitter and Facebook pages have led a TON of social media followers and our Instagram and YouTube profiles are picking up steam as well. The majority of the quit conversation that takes place has always been (and will always be) on our accountability forums at ktcforum.org but there are some folks that never visit the forums – they hang out here on the main site. There’s a TON of quit conversation that takes place in the comments sections. Get involved – you never know who you’re going to meet! If you’re not partaking in the conversations I’d strongly advise it!
All of that being said, the #1 way people find a KillTheCan.org property on the web is through a good old Google search (or Bing or Yahoo if that’s your preferred search engine). As we flip the calendar tonight, I thought it’d be a good time to take a look at this years’s data to see just how people found out little slice of the web.
Top 10 phrases that people used to find the main site (www.killthecan.org) in 2019:
- kill the can
- smokey mountain chew
- chewing tobacco alternatives
- mouth cancer pictures
- pictures of tongue cancer
- how to quit chewing tobacco
- smokeless tobacco alternative
- quit chewing tobacco
An interesting list to be sure… our friends at Smokey Mountain provide some incredible products so I’m thrilled to see then so high on our list.
How did you find KillTheCan.org? Happy New Year quitters!!!
